About Albert Björn

Working on 16+ years of practice and study, Albert aims to deliver classes and courses that inspire and aid in the sharing of accurate information from Iceland and the North.

Many sources for this magic usually go uncited and much is often lost in translation. He strives always to make sure that Icelandic folk magic and all of its nuances and complexities are covered where neccessary when speaking on the magic of Iceland.

As an initiate in a family tradition here in Iceland he holds this cause close to his heart and as such aim to deliver both practical and accurate knoweldge from Iceland and beyond.

Albert is the author or two books on Icelandic plant and folk magic. Available through Crossed Crow Books

During the short Icelandic summers he can be found travelling the land gathering plant materia to use in all his creations and blends. Working with the planetary magic of Agrippa, which has inspired much of Icelandic contemporary folk magic

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR MATERIA?

From the shores of fjords, small forests, windy mountains and meadows, almost all of the herbs and materia used in my products have been foraged, grown or purchased within Iceland. I do not bulk buy materia from overseas, I do however occasionally include materia found on my travels or gifted by friends and family (these will be stated in item descriptions).
