Never Under the Eaves - Sussex Spring Plant Folklore - Live Class March 24th
In this class we will discuss some of the more iconic plants of British spring time. Looking at how they might be utilised in our magic based on the folklore and virtues they carry. We will discuss the benefica and malefica of hawthorn and whitethorn, how these might be worked with to bring about aid or misfortune. We will look at the magic of the cowslip, primrose, bluebell, lady's smock, gorse, daffodil, early purple orchid and more. Focusing on a few select plants of Sussex, as well as the wider lore associated with them all.
These plants aren't just limited to Sussex, many of them can be found all over the Northern hemisphere. So whether you're a British witch, or practicing somewhere further afield you'll find useful practical tips and tricks for working with the first herbal allies to show themselves when the spring returns.
